一、本篇资料主要反映住宿和餐饮业的基本情况、经营情况和旅游产业的发展情况。主要内容包括：限额以上住宿和餐饮业基本情况、经营情况、财务情况；连锁餐饮业经营情况；经广东口岸入境游客人数（港澳台和外国人）、城市接待国内外旅游人数、旅行社组织接待人数以及旅游收入等基本情况。

二、本篇资料来源

本篇资料中住宿和餐饮业主要根据国家统计局《住宿和餐饮业统计报表制度》进行搜集和加工整理；旅游资料主要由广东省文化和旅游厅提供。

三、本篇资料的统计范围

限额以上住宿和餐饮业的企业、个体户；餐饮连锁集团；旅行社、星级饭店和旅游者。住宿业年营业额200万元及以上；餐饮业年营业额200万元及以上。

四、本篇的调查方法

限额以上住宿和餐饮业资料采用全面调查的方法自下而上逐级综合汇总而得，限额以下企业及个体户资料采用抽样调查方法推算而得。旅游部门基本情况、住宿设施接待人数、旅行社接待人数由各基层企业上报汇总，城市接待旅游人数、国内外旅游收入根据抽样调查资料测算。

五、本篇资料由广东省统计局贸易外经统计处整理、编辑。

Brief Introduction

Ⅰ. Data in this chapter reflect the development of hotel and catering services and tourism in China. They mainly include: the basic conditions, operating and financial status of hotel and catering services above the designated size; the operating status of chain catering services; number of international tourists entering China through ports in Guangdong (including foreigners, Chinese compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan), number of domestic and international tourists received by cities, number of tourists received by travel agencies, and earnings from tourism, etc.

Ⅱ. Data sources :

The data are collected and processed in accordance with the Statistical Reporting Scheme on Accommodations and Catering Services stipulated by the National Bureau of Statistics. The data in this chapter are provided by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province.

Ⅲ. The statistical coverage in this chapter comes as follows:

Data in this chapter cover the enterprises of hotel and catering services above the designated size, self-employed households of hotel and catering services; chain catering services, travel agencies, star-rated hotels and tourists; hotels with annual turnover of 2 million yuan or above, and catering services with annual turnover of 2 million yuan or above.

Ⅳ. The statistical coverage in this chapter comes as follows:

Data on basic conditions for all corporate enterprises of accommodations and catering services above the designated size are collected through comprehensive reporting systems and data are reported level by level in a bottom-up manner. Data on small-size enterprises and individual enterprises below the designated size are collected through sample surveys. Basic statistics on tourist agencies, the number of tourists received by lodging facilities, and the number of tourists received by travel agencies are summaries of reports from various enterprises, whereas the number of tourists received by cities and earnings from domestic and international tourism are estimates from sample surveys.
