一、本篇资料包括部分省市社会经济主要指标、中国香港特别行政区、中国澳门特别行政区、中国台湾省主要统计指标及国际主要统计指标。

二、附录A、附录B、附录C资料来源于国家统计局编辑、中国统计出版社出版的《中国统计摘要》。附录D资料来源于国家统计局编辑、中国统计出版社出版的《国际统计年鉴——2023》。

三、一些国际组织及其组成成员:

经济合作与发展组织(经合组织,OECD),成员国有38个:澳大利亚、奥地利、比利时、加拿大、智利、捷克、丹麦、爱沙尼亚、芬兰、法国、德国、希腊、匈牙利、冰岛、爱尔兰、以色列、意大利、日本、韩国、拉脱维亚、立陶宛、卢森堡、墨西哥、荷兰、新西兰、挪威、波兰、葡萄牙、斯洛伐克、斯洛文尼亚、西班牙、瑞典、瑞士、土耳其、英国、美国、哥伦比亚、哥斯达黎加。

欧洲货币联盟(欧元区,Euro Area),成员国有20个:德国、比利时、奥地利、荷兰、法国、意大利、西班牙、葡萄牙、卢森堡、爱尔兰、芬兰、希腊、斯洛文尼亚、塞浦路斯、马耳他、斯洛伐克、爱沙尼亚、拉脱维亚、立陶宛和克罗地亚。

东南亚国家联盟(东盟,ASEAN),成员国有10个:菲律宾、马来西亚、泰国、新加坡、印度尼西亚、文莱(1984年)、越南(1995年)、缅甸(1997年)、老挝(1997年)和柬埔寨(1999年)。

北美自由贸易区(NAFTA):成立于1994年1月1日,成员国有3个,加拿大、墨西哥和美国。

西方七国(G7):包括美国、日本、英国、德国、法国、意大利和加拿大。

四、一些国家(含地区)分类含义:

按收入分组国家:按照世界银行2021年分组标准,高收入国家指按图表集法计算的人均国民总收入13205美元及以上的国家,中等偏上收入国家指人均国民总收入4256美元至13205美元的国家,中等偏下收入国家指人均国民总收入1086美元至4255美元的国家,低收入国家指人均国民总收入1085美元及以下的国家。

发达国家或地区与发展中国家或地区:联合国统计司对“发达国家或地区”及“发展中国家或地区”没有一个明确的划分标准。通常是把亚洲的日本、塞浦路斯和以色列,北美的加拿大、美国、百慕大、格陵兰、圣皮埃尔和密克隆,大洋洲的澳大利亚、新西兰、赫德岛和麦克唐纳岛、诺福克岛、科科斯(基林)群岛、圣诞岛,欧洲,都列入发达国家或地区。国际货币基金组织指出“发达经济体”包括40个国家或地区,他们是:安道尔、澳大利亚、奥地利、比利时、加拿大、塞浦路斯、捷克、丹麦、爱沙尼亚、芬兰、法国、德国、希腊、中国香港、冰岛、爱尔兰、以色列、意大利、日本、韩国、拉脱维亚、立陶宛、卢森堡、中国澳门、马耳他、荷兰、新西兰、挪威、葡萄牙、波多黎各、圣马力诺、新加坡、斯洛伐克、斯洛文尼亚、西班牙、瑞典、瑞士、中国台湾、英国及美国。其他为新兴市场及发展中经济体。

Brief Introduction

I. The data in this chapter include main social and economic indicators of some provinces and municipalities,main statistical indicators of Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions and Taiwan Province of the People’s Republic of China, as well as main international statistical indicators.

II. Data in Appendices A, B, C come from China Statistical Abstract compiled by National Bureau of Statistics and published by China Statistics Press. Data in Appendix D come from International Statistical Yearbook compiled by National Bureau of Statistics and published by China Statistics Press.

III. International organizations and their members included are as follows:

Association of South East Asian Countries (ASEAN), it has 10 members, i.e., the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam (1984), Viet Nam (1995), Myanmar (1997), Lao People's Democratic Republic (1997) and Cambodia (1999).

North American Free Trade Area(NAFTA), was founded on January 1, 1994, with members unchanged hitherto, i.e., Canada, Mexico and the United States.

Group 7, includes the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy and Canada.

IV. Countries (territories) are classified as follows:

Countries by Income Group According to the criteria by the World Bank, countries and territories (referred to as economies) are classified into high income (higher than $13205), higher middle income (between $4256 and $13205), lower middle income (between $1086 and $4255) and low income ($1085 and below) groups by their per capita GNI (calculated by Atlas method)in the year 2021.

Developed and Developing Countries or Areas: There is no established convention for the designation of "developed" and "developing" countries or areas in the United Nations system. In common practice, Japan, Cyprus, Israelin Asia, Canada, the United States, Bermuda, Greenland, Saint Pierre and Miquelon in northern America, Australia, New Zealand, Heard Island and McDonald Islands, Norfolk Island, Cocos (Keeling) Islands, Christmas Island in Oceania, and Europe are considered "developed" regions or areas. Advanced economies in International Monetary Fund (IMF) are composed of 40 countries: Andorra,Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong SAR, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macao SAR, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Puerto Rico, San Marino, Singapore, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan Province of China, United Kingdom, and United States. Others are emerging market and developing economies.

V. The data of various provinces and municipalities in 2023 all come from flash annual reports.

VI. The data in this chapter are prepared and compiled by the Division of Comprehensive Statistics of Guangdong Provincial Bureau of Statistics.
